Laura Plotkin joined the Division of Institutional Advancement in August 2026 as the Alumni Operations and Office Manager, overseeing alumni engagement operations while managing the day-to-day administrative, logistical, and organizational needs of the office.
- Prior to joining Institutional Advancement, Plotkin served in Florida Atlantic’s Office of Undergraduate Admissions within the Division of Student Affairs as Assistant Director of International Admissions from 2024-26 and as Evaluations Coordinator from 2023-24).
- Before joining Florida Atlantic, Plotkin lived in Golden, Colorado, where she held administrative positions within the secondary education system. She served as a college specialist, working closely with high school students to help them navigate the college search and selection process, and with the health department of elementary schools supporting students, and families, contributing to the overall health and well-being of the school community.
