Jeanine Ortiz joined the Division of Institutional Advancement as the Assistant Director of Alumni and Community Engagement. She is responsible for signature events, committees, and networks. She helps to support, track, and measure Florida Atlantic Alumni and Community Engagement initiatives and engagement.
Prior to her current role, Jeanine served as the Program Coordinator for Campus Events & Traditions at the University of Florida. She advised and supervised GatorNights, the late-night programming board. Her role also involved advising and supporting Soulfest with Homecoming & Gator Growl and FLEX with the Freshman Class Council.
From 2020-2022, Jeanine attended Florida International University for a Master of Science in Higher Education Administration. During her time at FIU, she served as the Graduate Assistant for Campus Life. She co-advised the Student Programming Council and executed large and small scale events.
