Wells Dusenbury joined Florida Atlantic University in February 2023 as the Assistant Director of Alumni Communications. In his role, he oversees all communications initiatives for Florida Atlantic Alumni and Community Engagement, including email marketing, social media, branding, event collateral, media relations, and more.
Additionally, Wells manages all communications for the department’s signature events, including marketing, run of shows, speeches, printed collateral, and AV elements.
- Prior to Florida Atlantic, Wells spent more than a decade as a news and sports reporter in Palm Beach County, serving in a variety of roles.
- He worked at ESPN West Palm from 2011-16, contributing on their television, radio and digital platforms as the station’s high school sports insider. During his time there, he was a frequent on-air contributor, making weekly appearances on NBC affiliate WPTV and FOX affiliate WFLX, as well as on numerous ESPN West Palm shows.
- He then spent the next seven years at the South Florida Sun Sentinel, covering high school sports and the Miami Marlins before transitioning to the news department, where he covered local government, real estate, development, transportation, and more in Palm Beach County.
