You can purchase your plate at any time by filling out the form below. Florida Atlantic license plates are also available for purchase at any county’s tax collector’s office. With each plate purchase, Florida Atlantic receives $25. These fees will go directly towards supporting scholarships, campus initiatives, and other important programs. And, if you a Florida Atlantic alum, your purchase will help us increase our national university ranking – increase the value of your degree.
Each year you keep your Florida Atlantic branded plate, Florida Atlantic will continue to receive $25.
Florida Atlantic is working in partnership with the Indian River County Tax Collector’s office* and they will process tag requests for any Florida resident. A representative will contact you to complete your purchase. Online orders will be processed within 10–14 business days.
*Under F.S. 668.6076, email addresses are public records. If you do not want your email address released in response to a public-records request, do not send electronic mail to this entity. Instead, contact them by phone or in writing.
Plates will be mailed to the registrants address on file, in approximately 4 weeks.
You are able to renew and/or upgrade your plate at any time. Registration renewal begins 3 months before the registrants date of birth. This is the ideal time to switch your plate.
If you just renewed your plate or if you are on a multi-year renewal cycle, you can still switch over to a Florida Atlantic license plate. You will be charged for the new plate, usage fee for the plate and processing fee (additional fees may apply). The total amount owed will be processed on an individual basis by the Indian River Tax Collector. License plate registrations are not prorated.
In the State of Florida, all license plates are required to be replaced every 10 years.
