Let’s Talk Tech: Fireside Chat with Tanya Sam
February 22
The FAU Alumni Association is proud to be hosting a ‘Representation in Technology’ fireside chat, to celebrate Black History Month. We are welcoming Tanya Sam, a tech entrepreneur who is the Director of Partnerships at Tech Square Labs. Tanya is passionate about creating pathways to bring more women and minorities into business and technology.
Since 2016, TechSquare Labs has invested over $300 million in venture capital, generating over $100 million in revenue.
Currently, Tanya is the host of the tv docu-reality series Making of a Mogul. Launching in Fall 2022, this series is dedicated to highlighting successful entrepreneurs in the Black, Brown and Latin communities.
Tanya is passionate about creating pathways to bring more women and minorities into business and technology and aims to inspire and uplift young black women to be unapologetically themselves.
Tanya was also a featured cast member on the Real Housewives of Atlanta for seasons 11-13.
The fireside chat will be held at Florida Atlantic University on Tuesday, February 22 at 6 P.M. in the Grand Palm Room, FAU Student Union. The event will feature a moderated conversation, Q&A with the audience, and networking reception from 7:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
Attendance is free for all FAU students and alumni, but seating is limited – don’t miss it!
