Mark Kattoura received his BA in Communication from FAU in 2001, his MA in Communication as well in 2003, and his Ph.D. in Comparative Studies with a focus on Communication and Sociology in 2013. Kattoura’s time as an undergrad was the most fulfilling time of his life, leading him to pursue his Masters immediately after his undergrad. After venturing into the business world for a few years, he eventually found his way home again, returning for his Ph.D.

Kattoura works as a Claims Specialist with the Social Security Administration. Kattoura has worked in marketing, branding, and business development roles with various organizations. He has also spent time as an adjunct professor at FAU’s School of Communication and Multimedia Studies and within the state college system. He has served on the Alumni Association’s Board of Directors and various Board committees since 2014, and has also served as a volunteer leader for the University’s Palm Beach County Alumni Network since its 2018 inception.

Kattoura is always proud to represent his alma mater and strives to support the university in every way possible.
