José Zenón, ’99

A to Z Advisors


José M. Zenon is a descendant of Puerto Rican parents, and a native of the Bronx. NY. He is a first generation college graduate whose passion for continued education has served as a pillar his entire life. José received his Bachelor of Arts with a Major in Communication in 1995 from the Florida Atlantic University (FAU), Zenon considers his time at FAU one of the most impactful periods of his life that forever changed the trajectory of his life. As a student he served as Student Body Senator, and on various sub-committees such as the Program Board. He also had the honor of serving as the President of the Black Student Union. José has led a distinguished career in Sales and Marketing at Xerox Corporation and other Fortune 500 companies and earned numerous accolades over his 20 years working diligently within the industry.

Currently, he works in the Supply Chain Management field and as an Operation Organizational Consultant for his company A to Z Advisors. As a proud prOWLer, José continues to support the students, FAU Alumni Association and the university in general. He is a proud FAUAA Life Member, and regularly supports the undergraduate students at his initiated chapter in the Spring of 1993, the Omicron Gamma Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. He is currently the Director/Chairman of the Board of Directors for the New York Achievement Foundation, Inc., a non-profit 501(c)3 Corporation providing educational scholarships to High School Seniors

José and his wife, Angela, live in Teaneck, New Jersey with their 3-year-old son where they enjoy being outdoors. José also enjoys history and music, and is in the process of completing a family history tree with a compilation of music genres that accompany the related eras of his family’s lineage.
