After graduating high school in Wichita, Kansas, Brandey relocated to Boca Raton to attend Florida Atlantic University, where she graduated with her BA in Political Science in 2005. Brandye currently serves as the Community Outreach Director for Congressman Ted Deutch, since working in the Congressman’s District Office since 2013, serving the 22 Congressional District which stretches from Boca Raton to Ft. Lauderdale. Brandey is Representative Deutch’s liaison to South Florida’s growing business community where she plays an active role in identifying and addressing issues affecting local businesses and the economy. Brandey has more than 15 years of experience under her belt working as a politician at a national, state, and local level. Brandey also has extensive experience in non-profit and fundraising, serving as the Assistant Director of Hillel of Broward and Palm Beach, headquartered on FAU’s Boca Raton campus, where she was awarded the Exemplar of Excellence, Hillel International’s highest professional honor for Hillel professionals around the world. Currently, she serves as the Chair of Development for Hillel of Broward and Palm Beach’d Board of Directors. Brandey resides in Boca Raton with her husband Ryan and her son Jesse.
